Conference Hotel

hiltonThe Host Hotel for the 2016 APCO Western Regional Conference will be the DoubleTree by Hilton of Portland.

Conference Rate is $139/night.  The conference rate will be good from Saturday to Thursday (March 5th-10th, leaving on March 11th) and must be booked by February 12, 2016.

You may call the hotel directly at 503-281-6111 and ask for in-house reservations.  Please let them know you are registering under the personalized code of WRO. The reservations department is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.


Traveling by Plane?

alaska airAlaska Airlines offers a Discount Code which is ECMW383 for travel to the Portland Airport (PDX). This code will be valid for travel from March 4th to March 14th.

To use the Discount Code, go online to and input the Discount Code when searching for flights.  By clicking the “?” next to the discount code box after entering the code you may view a detailed description of the rules.

You and your guests may also use the Discount Code by calling Alaska Airlines Group Desk; however a $15.00 per person ticketing fee will apply.  There is no fee to book airfare online.


Traveling by Train?


Amtrak offers a 10% discount off the best available rail fare to (Portland, OR) between (March 04, 2016 – March 14, 2016).  To book your reservation call Amtrak at 1 (800) 872-7245 or contact your local travel agent.

Conventions cannot be booked via Internet.  Please be sure to refer to Convention Fare Code X17Y-931 when making your reservation.  This offer is not valid on the Auto Train and Acela Service.  Fare is valid on Amtrak Regional for all departures seven days a week, except for holiday blackouts.  Offer valid with Sleepers, Business Class or First Class seats with payment of the full applicable accommodation charges.
